Caldes d’Estrac and Sant Andreu de Llavaneres (Maresme)

ordi Sellarès, fellow and former president of the Association, will be in charge of the visit.

ITINERARY:

11:00 a.m.: CALDES D’ESTRAC (ON FOOT)

The itinerary will begin in Caldes d’Estrac, running along Passeig dels Anglesos, while pointing out the locations of the different diplomatic and consular offices (Argentina, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Sweden), and it will continue through town (International Red Cross, France, Costa Rica and The Netherlands).

12:30 p.m.: ARENYS DE MAR AND SANT ANDREU DE LLAVANERES (BY BUS)

Then, the group will take a bus to Arenys de Mar (Villa Carmen, Brazil) and afterwards will pass through Sant Andreu de Llavaneres (the Torre Dorda—where the Norwegian embassy was—, the cemetery—where the consul of Chile was buried—, El Casal—where the legate of Bolivia was—and the Vilaclara Art Hotel—where the U.S. Embassy and Consulate used to be).

2:30 p.m.: LUNCH AT CALDES D’ESTRAC (OPTIONAL)

Lunch at the Hotel Colón in Caldes d’Estrac.

The price of the adults’ set menu is €25 (only including water; all other drinks will be paid separately)

The price for the children’s set menu is €16.

The meeting point will be the Caldetes train station.

Expected duration of the visit: 2.5 hours
